A Living World is Coming to Mir Vengeance

One of the biggest features we’ve been working on behind the scenes is finally ready to show off.

The world of Mir Vengeance is no longer static. Time now passes naturally, weather changes throughout the world, and server events are scheduled throughout the year to make the game feel more alive than ever before.

Live Day & Night

The game now follows a real-world clock, with sunrise and sunset changing naturally throughout the year instead of simply switching between day and night at fixed times.

Whether you’re exploring early in the morning, watching the sun set over Bichon, or hunting through the darkness at midnight, the world changes around you.

Dynamic Weather

Weather is now controlled by the server and can vary across different regions of the world.

You may find:

  • Light rain drifting across one area.
  • Heavy storms reducing visibility.
  • Thick fog covering forests and valleys.
  • Snow and blizzards sweeping across winter regions.

Weather isn’t just visual either. Heavy conditions can slightly reduce movement speed and visibility, making the world feel far more immersive while still keeping gameplay enjoyable.

Seven-Day Weather Forecast

To help you prepare your adventures, we’ve also added a brand-new Weather Forecast page to the website.

Simply choose a region and you’ll be able to see the weather outlook for the next seven days, helping you decide the best time to hunt, complete quests or simply explore.

Of course… weather can always surprise you once you’re in-game.

Timed & Weather Quests

Some quests can now only be completed during certain conditions.

You may come across objectives that require:

  • Rain
  • Snow
  • Fog
  • Night-time
  • Weekends
  • Certain months of the year

Keep an eye on the quest description and the weather before heading out.

World Events

Throughout the year the server will automatically run scheduled world events.

When an event begins, everyone online will receive a global announcement, whether it’s a holiday celebration, a Double Experience weekend or a special community event.

Building a Living World

These systems work together to create a world that feels alive rather than simply existing.

Instead of every day feeling the same, you’ll find yourself planning hunts around the weather, exploring maps at different times of day and discovering content that only appears under certain conditions.

It’s another step towards making Mir Vengeance feel like a living world rather than just another private server.
