Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mir Vengeance website, game client, game servers, and related services (together, the “Services”), operated by Mir Vengeance (“we”, “us”, “our”). Contact: info@mirvengeance.com.
By creating an account, downloading the client, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
- What Mir Vengeance is
Mir Vengeance is a free-to-play online multiplayer game (Legend of Mir–style) and companion website. Players can create a game account, log in via the website or game client, manage their account, view game information, request beta access, and optionally receive email updates.
You are creating an in-game account. The same account is used on the website and in the game client. Creating an account does not guarantee a beta slot. You will be able to use your account when the live server is available, subject to these Terms.
- Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older if required where you live). If you are under 18, you must have a parent/guardian’s permission.
- You must provide a valid email address you control.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity on your account.
- Account sharing is not allowed. Giving another person your login details, or letting someone else use your account, can result in an account ban.
- One person should not create accounts to evade bans or abuse the game. Ban evasion can lead to further bans.
- Game client, updates, and availability
- To play, you must download and install the official Mir Vengeance game client (and launcher/patcher where provided) from our official sources only.
- We may update, patch, change, or reset the game, website, maps, balance, items, or features at any time without prior warning.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Servers may go offline for maintenance, emergencies, or other reasons.
- We are a small team, not a large company with full-time support staff. Support is limited to when we are available and we may take time to reply.
- Licence — what you get (and do not own)
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Services for entertainment. You do not own in-game currency, items, characters, progress, names, or any other virtual content. These may be modified, wiped, or removed at any time (including during beta).
Virtual items and currency have no real-world cash value outside the game, except where we expressly sell something for real money under our shop rules.
- Purchases and refunds
- If you buy in-game currency, items, or other paid content, those purchases are generally non-refundable, except where UK consumer law requires otherwise.
- Loss in-game is not refundable. If you lose purchased currency or items through death, drops, trades, scams by other players, mistakes, or similar in-game events, we will not replace or refund them.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes made in bad faith may result in account suspension or ban.
- Beta
- Beta access is invitation-only and is not guaranteed by creating an account.
- Request beta access from your account page on the website. We may accept or refuse any request.
- Beta data (characters, items, progress) may be wiped at any time with no compensation.
- Beta may end without notice. When the live server opens, these Terms continue to apply.
- Rules of conduct
You must not:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or bully other players or staff.
- Use racist, sexist, homophobic, or other hateful language or content.
- Share illegal, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate content in chat, names, guild boards, mail, or elsewhere in the Services.
- Impersonate staff or other players.
- Cheat, hack, bot, exploit bugs, use unauthorised third-party tools, or manipulate the client/server.
- Attack, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, servers, or other players’ systems.
- Spam, advertise unrelated services, or scam other players.
Chat and communications may be monitored for safety and enforcement. If you are reported, we may investigate using available logs. Outcomes can include a warning, mute, temporary ban, or permanent ban, depending on severity and history.
- Real-money trading (RMT), farming, and linked accounts
- Buying or selling gold, items, characters, or accounts for real money (or other value outside the game) is forbidden.
- Farming gold or items to sell outside the game is forbidden and can/will result in an account ban.
- We may ban all accounts linked to the same person, payment method, hardware, or IP addresses connected to RMT, farming, or ban evasion.
- Bans and enforcement
- We may warn, mute, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break these Terms or published game rules.
- A ban applies to the whole account, not only one character. Banned accounts lose access to characters, items, currency, and progress on that account.
- Ban = you may lose everything on that account. We are not obliged to restore banned accounts or compensate for lost progress or purchases (subject to mandatory law).
- Appeals may be considered at our discretion when we are available; we are not obliged to reverse a ban.
- Intellectual property and images
- The Mir Vengeance name, website content we create, and our original materials are protected as applicable.
- Many images, graphics, sounds, and other assets used in the game are not owned by us and remain the property of their respective rights holders. We do not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property.
- You must not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit the Services or game assets except as allowed by law or with permission from the rights holder.
- To report copyright concerns, email info@mirvengeance.com with enough detail for us to investigate.
- Privacy
We process personal data (such as email and account details) as described in our Privacy Policy. Chat/logs and technical data may be retained as needed for security, moderation, and running the game.
- Disclaimer
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted service, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the game will be error-free or always online.
- Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on the website. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website or by email when practical.
