Hero spells — books, quests, and a slower curve after 22

    HERO SPELLS
    Closed beta · 16 October 2026

Heroes can learn spells now. They use their own books, not yours.

    How a hero learns
    • Hero books are named like the spell, with Hero in front: HeroFireBall, HeroFencing, and so on.
    • Double-click the book in your bag. Your hero has to be that class, and high enough level.
    • The spell starts off. Open the hero spell page and click it to turn it on. On means the hero may cast it. Off means they will not.
    • A hero can have 6 spells on at once. Learn as many as you like and swap which six are on.
    • A normal spell book stays in your bag. It will not go into the hero bag or onto the hero.
Gear still goes on the hero. Drag it from your bag onto the hero character window, and drag it back to take it off. The hero bag is for potions and spare kit.

    Where the books are
    • Up to level 22 — quests from Brian, the hero NPC at Bichon Wall. One quest per class. Talk to him and turn it in. You need a few empty bag slots (wizard and taoist are eight books).
    • Level 23 to 35 — sub-bosses.
    • Level 36 and up — bosses.

Double-click the book when you have it. The hero still has to be the right class and level.

    Levelling

Heroes still level quickly up to 22. That part is staying.

From level 22, the experience bar is three times a normal character’s. Reaching 23 takes 750,000. A player at the same step needs 250,000.

Base stats match a player through level 22. After that, each further gain is half of what a normal character gets.

Restart the client before you log in, so the hero spell page and the book check are the new ones.
