Development this week focused on expanding the player statistics systems across the server.
One area that has always interested us is giving players more information about their own journey through the game. Levels and equipment only tell part of the story. How long you’ve played, where you’ve travelled, what you’ve defeated and what you’ve achieved are all part of your character’s history.
Work completed today included improvements to the collection and storage of player statistics, laying the groundwork for future website integration and character profile pages.
The long-term goal is to allow players to view detailed information about their characters, including play time, monster kills, progression milestones and other achievements accumulated throughout their adventures.
While these systems are still evolving, the foundations are now in place to begin building richer character profiles and more detailed statistics pages in the future.
This is part of a wider effort to make the game world feel more persistent, where characters build their own history over time rather than simply gaining levels and collecting equipment.
Development continues across both gameplay systems and backend infrastructure as we steadily move towards launch.
