As no one has put a post on here, i will introduce myself. I am Bobsyouruncle, i was in beta all those years ago when "game network" ran legend of mir. I was co-guildmaster to "the brotherhood", i left mir due to a certain gamemaster going on holiday and giving their account details to a player. I still remember it well, it was over the Christmas holidays, people were spending a lot of time, well i was, in getting up in the ranks, then to find out because someone cheated, well them and their friends, we all got a wind back to before Christmas, i lost lots of levels. And in them days, that took a lot of work, the original LOW exp.
I lost it, i had been beta testing another couple of games at the time: dark ager of camelot (stevethegreat) and world of warcraft; i couldnt get on with WoW, the controls were bonkers, and so i went on with DOAC. All that is not history.
I did do some stuff early with legend of mir private servers, but that was the early days. I digress, since LOM i have beta tested lots of MMORPG's sadly none are with us anymore. My favourite must be "carp diame", or however you spell it, only because not only you were up against the computer program, but an evil one, a human player, and he picked on me a few times, it was fun and i loved my "biatch" mount.
I have been looking for a server that followed the "classic", and i hope i have found it.
Anyway, make yourself know, it is the PLAYERS that make the servers.
