This was supposed to be simple.

Move accounts.
Then characters.
Then everything else.

Instead I’ve spent the last few weeks chasing save paths that don’t even make sense anymore.

Fix one thing.
Break three others.

Login works.
Game runs.
Looks fine.

But nothing actually persists properly.

Two systems fighting each other.

Flat files still quietly doing their own thing behind the scenes.

Honestly today was one of those days.

Spent 5 hours fixing what I thought was a gold issue.

It wasn’t gold.

It was the way the save routine cascades into character data.

Closed everything earlier and just stared at the screen for a bit.

Might delete it all.
Not even joking.
